Bluetooth Sensor Platform Delivers Reliable Data In The Harshest Conditions

Winner of the Embedded Computing Design Best in Show award, Laird Connectivity’s Sentrius BT510 Bluetooth 5 sensor platform is said to deliver accurate sensor data in the harshest environments. It combines multiple sensors for temperature, shock, movement, open/close, and beaconing with Bluetooth 5 Long Range technology to deliver maximum application flexibility.

The BT510 is powered by Laird Connectivity’s BL654 Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module that integrates Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF52840 silicon. Additionally, the latest Bluetooth 5 coded PHY gives extended range over traditional Bluetooth and enables users to cover a plethora of sensing applications.

Boasting exceptional RF performance, the platform is powered by an easily replaceable coin cell battery and is packaged in a small, rugged IP67 housing. Other features include easy configuration and programming via a supporting mobile application and complete end-to-end integration to the cloud via the company’s IG60 gateway platform.
