Device Links MIL-STD-1553 and/or ARINC-429 Via USB
By Mat Dirjish
Allegedly a first in the industry, Alta Data Technologies’ USB-MA4 connects notebooks, desktops, and servers with 1553 and ARINC networks via USB 3.0 SuperSpeed. The USB-MA4 measures about the size of a deck of cards and provides one to two dual-redundant 1553 channels, and/or 8 ARINC-429 channels.
In addition to 1553/ARINC full RX/TX message controls, USB-MA4 can generate or capture (o-scope) raw bus signals for protocol and electrical troubleshooting. The USB-MA4 is available now for immediate delivery. For more insights and illuminations, check out the USB-MA4 page.
